If readers write thorough, intelligent reviews listing the merits of a book, then others will be more likely to pick it up.<br /><br />By the way, I'm curious to know what the series was that you read, if you don't mind telling. The next books in the series kept the great story and told it with much better writing. It can be nice to see that sort of thing, but you have to give the books a chance first.
